1981 Bergamot USA Great Seal "I'm Proud To Be An American" Pewter Belt Buckle Vintage 1981 Bergamot Brass Works The Great Seal of the USA "I'm Proud To Be An American" Pewter Belt Buckle The buckle is made of pewter (a magnet does not stick to it) and has an interesting and very cool raised design of The Great Seal of the USA with the words "I'm Proud To Be An American" along the bottom. This buckle was purchased in a huge lot of buckles from an estate. The markings on the back indicate this is manufactured by Bergamot Brass Works with a 1981 copyright; Made in USA and the number I-132. The buckle is approx. 3" W x 2.5" D and will fit up to a 1-7/8" belt. It is in very good condition with no dents or dings but does have wear and loss of enamel as shown in the pictures. This was well loved by the previous owner. Please note that I have not polished this.
