The oval scrimshaw piece is set into rich brown leather. This is engraved and colored by hand. Amazing work. Great buckle for the duck hunter or other outdoor sportsman. Measures 3-1/2 by 2-1/4″ and will fit a 1-1/2″.belt or a little bigger. I-3/4″ would be a tight fit but it would work. I’m not positive what the faux scrimshaw material is but it isn’t animal derived.

He roughs up the front and epoxy’s the crystals to the buckle then seals the crystals with another layer of clear epoxy. I wear one often and have no problem with crystals popping off.

The only information I could find about this 70s era belt buckle is that there is a Pride Drilling C.A. in Arizona, which is where I got the buckle from. These sorts of buckles would be handed out to employees for a job well done, as a safety award, etc. This measures approx 3″ wide by 2-1/8″. Fits a 1-1/2″ belt. Super great and probably a RARE buckle.
