Just picked this up from and estate sale, a very nice belt buckle made of brass.
The artist’s hallmark (G&L LEEKITY) is George and Lupeta Leekity and is stamped on the back of the buckle. « Sterling » is stamped below the hallmark. The buckle will accomodate a 1 1/2″ belt. The buckle features eight turquoise stones that are all set in sawtooth bezels.
Zuni sterling silver 8 turquoise stone belt buckle. The artist’s hallmark (G&L Leekity) is George & Lupeta Leekity. « Sterling » is stamped on the back of this piece. This buckle features 8 turquoise stones varying in size from 10mm long by 15mm wide to 14mm long by 21mm wide. The buckle face measures 3 5/16″ wide by 2 1/16″ long. The buckle fits a 1 1/2″ wide belt.
