Since the very beginning, it appeared to fulfill specific national aims, unlike other Scout organizations. The buckle depicts an emblem of the youth organization Plast – National Scout Organization of Ukraine, which has the form of a golden coat of arms of the Grand Prince of Kyiv Volodymyr and white tri-petal lily flower, artistically woven into one harmonious symbol.
