Availability of buckle styles may vary. What is a Factory Second? Any product that comes through with cosmetic blemishes or irregularities is a « factory second ». We’re not comfortable selling it at full price, but it is still entirely usable. Flaws are purely aesthetic and do not affect the function of the belts. What makes a SlideBelt unique? SlideBelts use a special fastening mechanism with patented release that eliminates the need for traditional belt holes. Instead of holes, it uses a row of notches sewn onto the underside of the strap that automatically engage with a tab on the buckle as the strap is slid in. No holes means no more awkward « in between » sizes or ugly wear-and-tear at the hole points. SlideBelts have 30 unique size positions at 1/4″ intervals, giving a perfect fit every time. Once you have it on, making adjustments to your belt’s size is simple and can be done quickly and discreetly. To tighten, just push the strap further into the buckle. To loosen, lift the frame of the buckle and pull the strap out. Our buckles can be easily interchanged with any SlideBelt strap of the same width. Sizing: Standard-length buckles are 1-5/8″ wide and 3-1/2″ long. Square buckles are 1-5/8″ wide and 2-3/4″ long.
