The back of the buckle is worded MADE IN U.S.A. The buckle has a sliding pin that allows the belt strap to lock in place. The back of the buckle has a moveable loop with jaws for gripping a belt. The buckle is designed to accommodate belts up to 1 5/16″ wide typical of the military or boy scouts.
