Vtg Kansas Gas & Electric Co. 1961-‘67 Gordon Evans Station Utility Belt Buckle! ESTATE FIND! Neat old heavy limited edition buckle from the 1960s. Brass or bronze – not sure. Made in 1967 to celebrate the first six years of the Gordon Evans electric station, just east of Colwich, Kansas. Number 37 out of an unknown limited release. A great find for the gas and oil collector, engineer who worked at this plant, or for the Kansas buckle collector. Excellent, vintage preowned condition as shown. Vintage Kechi Kansas Centennial 1888-1988 belt buckle features a detailed Native American chief in profile with a full feathered headdress. This limited edition piece, numbered 276 of 1500, was designed by Eric Scott and produced by The Buckle Source in Wichita, Kansas. The back includes a historical description of Kechi, meaning ‘Turtle in Wet Sand,’ and is marked Made in USA.
