Fifth and last in a series, limited collectors edition number 249 of 1000. Made in U.S.A. 1986 vintage. Storage locker find. As is as found. In good shape and has some weight to it.
The front of the buckle depicts a scene of a settler, covered wagon, buffalo, etc. The back of the buckle features a blurb about Kansas settlers and is stamped « 136 of 1000 ». The buckle is most likely made of pewter.
The front of the buckle shows a map of the county trials. It is possible it is made of pewter. The buckle is in great condition with very minimal wear. It is possible there are more minor flaws or condition issues that were not noticed.
Prominently displayed are « KANSAS » and the significant date « JAN. 29, 1861, » marking the state’s admission to the Union. Crafted with an antique brass finish, this round buckle exudes a rustic charm and enduring quality.
